About this plugin
CineBrass PRO v1.7 is a comprehensive orchestral brass library that captures ensemble and solo brass instruments recorded at the MGM Stage. The plugin distinguishes itself through Cinesamples' proprietary Adaptive Legato Engine, which analyzes your playing velocity and tempo in real time to adjust interval speed automatically. This eliminates the need for manual speed adjustments between expressive passages and rapid runs, a meaningful improvement over static legato implementations that can sound stilted when playing across varied tempos within a single performance.
The library separates articulations with surgical precision - the horns ensemble split distinguishes between stopped and fluttered tones, providing distinct sonic palettes. Intensity parameters respond to velocity input, allowing dynamic control that tracks natural performance variations. The newly implemented mapping system grants unprecedented customization through polyphonic keyswitching and overlapping velocity or CC ranges, enabling seamless articulation blending. The accented legato control particularly addresses a common workflow bottleneck by layering marcato, staccato, or spiccato articulations over legato transitions without requiring separate keyswitch commands.

CineBrass PRO suits composers working in film, television, and game audio who demand responsive, nuanced brass textures that respond fluidly to deliberate playing. Compared to competitors like Spitfire Audio's Albion or EAST WEST's Hollywood Brass, CineBrass PRO prioritizes adaptability and legato sophistication over sheer sample count. For producers prioritizing realistic legato performance and workflow efficiency, particularly those already invested in Cinesamples' string and wind libraries for sonic consistency, this plugin represents a genuine technical advancement in ensemble brass synthesis.
