About this plugin
The MLC S_Zero 93 is an officially licensed emulation of Silenoz's signature amplifier, developed through collaboration with Bogren Digital's established amp modeling expertise. The plugin presents three distinct channels engineered for progressive metal and extreme genres where harmonic complexity and articulation remain paramount despite aggressive gain staging.
The clean channel delivers a thick, lush foundation suitable for layering effects and ambient textures. Channels 2 and 3 occupy the high-gain territory with complementary gain structures - Channel 2 prioritizes loose, organic distortion character that maintains string-to-string definition, while Channel 3 tightens the response with enhanced edge and midrange aggression. Both channels preserve note clarity that separates this amp from competing high-gain models, a critical distinction when tracking dense polyphonic riffing.

A notable feature absent from the physical amplifier is the per-channel power amp tube selection between 6L6 and KT88 configurations, allowing users to adjust output impedance and harmonic coloration without leaving the plugin environment. This flexibility extends the tonal palette considerably for mix-ready tracking.
The inclusion of integrated effects pedals - the Fascination Street Octave with pitch detection, Brown Sugar four-mode overdrive, and OVD-2 overdrive - streamlines workflow by eliminating external chain management during recording sessions. These are functional tools rather than afterthoughts, with the Brown Sugar's mode selector particularly useful for tailoring pre-amp clipping characteristics to specific material.
The S_Zero 93 serves engineers working in symphonic metal, progressive metal, and contemporary extreme music genres where precision and articulation under high-gain conditions directly impact production value.
