About this plugin
BLEASS Motion EQ is a graphic equalizer that distinguishes itself through variable bandwidth controls and integrated LFO modulation, positioning it as a tool for both corrective EQ work and generative sound design. The three-band architecture provides sufficient frequency separation for most mixing tasks, while adjustable Q factors allow operators to narrow or widen the affected frequency range with precision. The visual feedback from the fader-style controls offers immediate curve recognition, making it accessible to engineers accustomed to hardware graphic EQs.
The plugin's sonic character emerges from its motion capabilities. Two independent LFOs can modulate either the frequency cutoff or the gain of each band, creating evolving tonal textures that drift and shift rhythmically. Sync options allow the LFOs to lock to DAW tempo or run freely, accommodating everything from subtle, slow sweeps to rhythmically aggressive filtering effects. This approach yields results ranging from transparent automation to expressive, deliberately colorful tone shaping.

The crossover functionality extends Motion EQ's scope considerably. By routing individual bands to separate output buses, the plugin facilitates parallel processing chains - a workflow particularly valuable for crafting complex masters or breaking apart instruments for discrete track processing. This crossover mode transforms the plugin from a simple EQ into a sophisticated signal router.
Motion EQ serves producers seeking dynamic EQ behavior without conventional automation, sound designers working with rhythmic modulation, and mixing engineers who value the flexibility of variable bandwidth controls. Its technical execution places it among competent mid-tier EQ tools, with the LFO integration being its primary differentiator in a crowded marketplace.
