About this plugin
Applied Acoustics Systems' Modeling Collection Upgrade offers existing Pro Series users a cost-effective path to AAS's complete physical modeling ecosystem. This bundle consolidates seven instruments - Chromaphone 3, Lounge Lizard EP-4, String Studio VS-3, Strum GS-2, Ultra Analog VA-3, Objeq Delay, and Multiphonics CV-1 - into a unified solution that totals under 150 MB.
The collection's strength lies in its physics-based synthesis architecture. Rather than relying on sample playback or conventional synthesis, these instruments model the acoustic behavior of real instruments at a fundamental level. This approach yields responsive, articulate sounds that scale efficiently in CPU usage while maintaining dynamic responsiveness to playing technique and velocity curves.

Chromaphone 3 excels at plucked and struck strings, while Lounge Lizard EP-4 remains one of the most authentic electric piano emulations available. String Studio VS-3 handles bowed and plucked textures, and Strum GS-2 provides convincing guitar performance tools. Ultra Analog VA-3 branches into subtractive synthesis, while Objeq Delay adds sophisticated modulation-capable time effects. The standout addition is Multiphonics CV-1, a modular platform enabling deep sound design and cross-instrument patching.
This upgrade targets producers already invested in AAS's ecosystem who need immediate access to the full suite without purchasing individually. The 1800+ presets span orchestral, electronic, and experimental territories, though experienced users will find the modular approach most rewarding for custom sonic development. For those seeking physically modeled instruments that prioritize responsiveness and efficiency, this collection represents genuine value.
