About this plugin
Altitude stands as a formidable real-time vocal processor that consolidates pitch correction, harmonization, and voice modulation into a single zero-latency plugin. Built around a formant-aware pitch-correction engine, it delivers the tonal fidelity and responsiveness expected from established industry standards while maintaining the CPU efficiency required for live performance.
The pitch correction operates with natural musicality even at aggressive settings, a crucial distinction when dealing with transparent tone shaping versus audible artifacts. Formant processing allows for intentional timbral shifts, from subtle warmth through doubler modes to pronounced spectral manipulation. The three-voice harmony engine intelligently follows the lead vocal in key while automatically voiding dissonant intervals, producing musically coherent stacking without manual voice leading. Individual processing chains for each harmony voice prevent the phasing and tonal collapse common in less sophisticated harmonizers.

Modulation capabilities extend beyond standard vibrato, offering pattern-based voice transformation that moves beyond hand-programmed limitations. The humanizer and optional auto-formant correction add dimensionality, while dual doubler modes and a widener provide spatial depth without sacrificing clarity in dense mixes.
Altitude serves multiple workflows effectively: studio producers requiring transparent pitch correction with creative harmonization options, live vocalists needing reliable intonation support without perceptible latency, and electronic producers treating voice as a compositional instrument. The combination of technical precision and creative flexibility positions it as a viable alternative to category leaders, particularly for users prioritizing real-time performance capability and harmonic intelligence over visual interface familiarity.
