About this plugin
The Drum Production Suite represents a logical expansion for DeBleed:Snare users, adding Remix:Drums to create a comprehensive drum processing toolkit. This upgrade delivers genuine workflow advantages for mixing engineers and producers working with either isolated drums or full mixes requiring stem separation.
Remix:Drums handles real-time drum stem separation with respectable accuracy, isolating kick, snare, hi-hat, cymbals, and toms from mixed sources without requiring offline processing. The interface prioritizes usability with sensitivity controls that respond intuitively to different source material, while multi-output support in compatible DAWs enables independent mixing of separated elements. This addresses a specific production need: remixers and producers deconstructing loops or salvaging partial drum recordings where individual track stems don't exist.

DeBleed:Drums, the complementary tool, tackles mic bleed removal through AI-trained separation that preserves the target drum element while reducing crosstalk from adjacent microphones. Its trigger threshold controls provide precision, processing only actual hits rather than applying blanket processing to entire tracks. This proves particularly useful in live or multi-mic drum sessions where isolation is imperfect.
The suite's technical approach leverages machine learning for source separation, operating transparently with minimal artifacts when applied appropriately. Compared to manual EQ or gating techniques, these plugins handle complex frequency overlaps more elegantly, though they work best on relatively well-isolated drum sources rather than heavily compressed or heavily reverb-laden recordings.
The perpetual licensing model distinguishes this from subscription alternatives, suiting engineers who prefer owning their tools outright. This upgrade serves professionals seeking faster drum manipulation without compromising mix integrity.
