Developed in collaboration with Grammy-winning mixing engineer Tony Maserati, GTi operates in a distinct space between traditional amp simulation and effects processing. Rather than modeling amplifiers, it functions as a tone-shaping front end designed to prepare guitars for either amp-driven signals or direct integration into a mix.

The plugin's architecture centers on five distinct processing chains: Clean, Clean Chorus, Heavy, Thick Rhythm, and Soft Flange. Each character applies different EQ, compression, and effects processing optimized for specific mixing contexts. The Heavy character addresses a common challenge in dense arrangements by providing aggressive high-frequency emphasis and sustain enhancement. Clean Chorus implements a genuine rotating speaker effect with vibrato modulation that recalls classic studio techniques without becoming obvious or distracting. The Thick Rhythm chain applies controlled compression and saturation to enliven rhythm guitar performances.

A dedicated Tame parameter manages transient peaks while subtly thickening the overall tone body, functioning somewhat like intelligent limiting without obvious dynamic reduction artifacts. The plugin handles aggressive input levels gracefully, degrading into natural crunch rather than harsh distortion.
