About this plugin
Clarity Vx Pro represents a significant advancement in dialogue processing, delivering real-time AI-driven noise reduction that streamlines post-production workflows while maintaining sonic integrity. Built on Waves' proprietary neural networks trained across millions of voice samples, the plugin performs comprehensive noise elimination in a single pass without the artifacts that plague conventional multi-band approaches.
The interface balances simplicity with depth. A primary control handles most scenarios, while six parametric bands provide granular frequency-specific processing when needed. The inclusion of reflections recovery and an ambience gate distinguishes this tool from standard noise gates, allowing engineers to preserve acoustic character while isolating dialogue. Four selectable neural networks accommodate different source material and processing demands, from heavily compromised location recordings to merely imperfect studio takes.

Real-time automation support eliminates the need for multiple plugin instances across edit lanes, a workflow advantage particularly valuable in dialogue-heavy projects. The ability to work within the DAW context - viewing all video and audio tracks simultaneously - allows informed decisions about what constitutes "noise" versus essential ambient information.
Clarity Vx Pro is essential for post-production professionals working with independent productions, documentary work, or any scenario where recording conditions are compromised. While it doesn't replace proper recording technique, it significantly reduces reliance on expensive ADR sessions. Among competitive options like iZotope RX, Clarity Vx Pro prioritizes speed and automation over surgical granularity, making it particularly suited for episodic television and film post where efficiency directly impacts budgets. The plugin establishes itself as an indispensable tool rather than a specialized problem-solver.
