HYPE is a drum kit and beat sequencer plugin designed specifically for high-energy electronic music production. Part of UJAM's Beatmaker series, it provides 10 pre-configured drum kits optimized for EDM, festival, and pop contexts, paired with 20 genre-specific rhythmic styles and 460 MIDI loops. The plugin prioritizes sonic immediacy: its kicks, snares, and cymbals are mixed to sit prominently in a mix without extensive post-processing, making it particularly useful for producers who need production-ready drum sounds quickly.

The core strength lies in its integration with Beatmaker 3's unified framework. Rather than operating as a standalone instrument, HYPE exists within a larger ecosystem where users can access multiple drum titles from a single plugin window. This architecture eliminates the workflow friction of loading separate instances while maintaining access to HYPE's specific sonic palette. The intelligent browser system uses BPM and mood tagging to streamline kit selection, a practical feature for session work.
