About this plugin
BOOST is a multieffect plugin engineered to automate dramatic transitions and dynamic intensity shifts across individual tracks or master busses. Rather than relying on static riser samples or manual parameter automation, BOOST applies a synchronized envelope of spectral and dynamic processing that responds intelligently to your DAW's playhead position and grid.
The plugin's core strength lies in its 60 effect modes, each a preset configuration of layered processing including frequency-dependent compression, harmonic enhancement, and transient shaping. These modes are designed to create progressive intensity builds without requiring manual tweaking. The Flip button inverts the effect arc, converting risers into downlifters or impacts with a single toggle. Mode-specific Vari controls allow subtle customization without sacrificing the locked-in timing that makes BOOST effective.

Grid synchronization is central to BOOST's workflow. Lock to 2, 4, or 8 measure phrases, select which beat receives peak intensity, and the plugin handles the automation curve. For engineers preferring manual control, the Finisher knob can be freely automated in the host DAW, overriding the sync engine entirely. This hybrid approach accommodates both formulaic transition design and precise mixing scenarios.
BOOST ships with over 200 presets covering standard transition types, though the plugin's value emerges when applied across diverse material. A flat vocal loop, ambient pad, or drum break responds distinctly depending on the selected mode, making BOOST useful across genre-agnostic production contexts. The plugin runs natively on Apple Silicon and supports VST3, VST2, AAX, and AU formats. This crossgrade license requires ownership of any other paid UJAM product, positioning it as a logical expansion tool for existing users of the ecosystem.
