About this plugin
STEREOVAULT approaches stereo processing with the methodical precision typically reserved for EQ and dynamics work. Rather than applying broad widening across a mix, the plugin analyzes incoming audio and establishes an intentional stereo foundation based on source material and genre context. From there, users navigate between focused, balanced, wide, and ultra-wide configurations, each with independent control over how frequencies interact in the stereo field.
The plugin operates in two modes reflecting its versatility across the production chain. Transparent Mode on master buses employs mastering-grade crossover filters for surgical stereo control without introducing artifacts. Flexible Mode on individual tracks and stems prioritizes creative freedom, allowing different processing strategies across multiple tabs. Six processing modules handle distinct stereo tasks: Spread manages conventional widening, Creative adds spatial movement and character, Panorama positions frequencies in stereo space, Width balances mid and side energy, Rotate repositions stereo information unconventionally, and Clean provides transparent mid or side EQ for surgical correction.

The plugin's defining feature is Level Match, which addresses a fundamental mixing bias: wider sounds inherently feel better when they're louder. By matching output levels across processing choices, STEREOVAULT removes this perceptual distortion, allowing users to evaluate stereo decisions on merit rather than perceived loudness. This approach prevents common pitfalls like weakened low-end definition, blurred center imaging, phase complications, and poor translation outside controlled environments.
STEREOVAULT suits producers seeking deliberate stereo shaping beyond default widening, mastering engineers requiring transparent control, and mix engineers treating stereo as a primary mixing tool rather than a final-stage enhancement. It represents a rare category of utility that combines analytical rigor with creative flexibility.
