About this plugin
AIR Music Technology's Stereophonic Bundle pairs two complementary processors designed to address practical mixing and mastering concerns: tonal shaping and stereo enhancement. The Stereophonic EQP draws inspiration from vintage Pultec designs, delivering broad, smooth EQ curves with mid-side processing capabilities alongside conventional stereo operation. This approach proves effective for establishing foundational tonal balance across tracks and full mixes without the surgical precision that can feel clinical in subjective work. The included Tube Warmth saturation adds subtle harmonic character rather than obvious distortion, maintaining musicality through the EQ stage.
The Stereophonic Enhancer handles the complementary task of spatial refinement. Its architecture prioritizes minimal phase shift while addressing common mastering challenges: adding perceived low-end weight, expanding stereo image dimensions, and introducing high-frequency presence. The processing works subtly, designed to enhance without destabilizing center image integrity, a critical consideration when working on full mixes where cohesion matters.

This bundle finds its strongest application in mid-stage and mastering contexts. Desktop producers integrating MPC workflows benefit from the hardware-software compatibility, while mixing engineers working across DAWs appreciate the straightforward, analog-inspired interface that doesn't demand deep parameter diving. The pairing acknowledges that effective stereo shaping involves both frequency-based decisions and spatial ones - EQP establishes what you're hearing, while Enhancer determines how it sits in the stereo field.
For producers seeking reliable, transparent processing without excessive menu diving or specialized workflows, this bundle delivers professional results with immediate usability.
