About this plugin
McDSP's Emerald Pack represents a carefully curated collection of professional audio tools that address the core requirements of modern music production. Rather than attempting comprehensive coverage of every processing category, the bundle focuses on the essential tasks that shape professional mixes: equalization, compression, limiting, and specialized correction.
The collection is anchored by the ML4000 mastering limiter and 6030 ultimate compressor, both employing McDSP's proprietary algorithms engineered for transparent operation at minimal latency. The Channel G and Channel G Compact strip modules provide integrated EQ and compression in a workflow-friendly interface, while the FilterBank equalizer carries forward the design philosophy that established McDSP's reputation in the late 1990s. These tools favor clarity and precision over coloration, making them particularly suited to engineers who value surgical control.

Secondary processors including the MC2000 multiband compressor, DE555 de-esser, NF575 noise filter, and FutzBox expand creative possibilities without bloating the bundle. The Revolver convolution reverb and Analog Channel round out the toolkit for spatial processing and tape emulation respectively.
This is purposefully a production bundle rather than a mastering suite or specialty-focused collection. The Emerald Pack works best for engineers and producers seeking reliable, transparent processing without investing in larger suites. The Native v7 optimization for Apple Silicon and current Intel architecture ensures modern host compatibility, while the high-resolution UI and zero-latency algorithms maintain professional workflow standards.
