About this plugin
Voices Of Rapture stands as a comprehensive vocal sample library built on the Kontakt Player platform, delivering four professionally recorded operatic singers spanning soprano, alto, tenor, and bass ranges. Soundiron captured nearly 50 hours of studio material, carefully programmed into a playable instrument with genuine utility for both orchestral and cinematic applications.
The core strength lies in its chromatic articulation set. True legato vowel sustains provide the foundation for smooth vocal lines, while the library includes staccato articulations, Latin chant sustains, and extended vowel sustains across six phonetic positions in both piano and forte dynamics. This architecture allows producers to construct believable solo passages or ensemble arrangements without resorting to time-stretching workarounds.

The phrase engine represents the library's most distinctive feature, offering thousands of pre-recorded melodic phrases in multiple keys and tempos. Step-sequencing controls, real-time tempo adjustment, and phrase editing provide flexibility beyond simple playback. The inclusion of humming and whistling categories adds textural variety to traditional operatic material.
Beyond the core vocal content, Soundiron included a substantial collection of atmospherics and synthesized drones derived from vocal processing. These sound-designed elements serve specific scoring functions - underscoring, reinforcement, and ambient texture - extending the library's creative range.
The interface prioritizes clarity and workflow efficiency rather than deep parameter manipulation. Voices Of Rapture functions as a specialized tool for composers and producers seeking authentic operatic material without recording studio sessions. It occupies a logical position between generic vocal libraries and the demands of custom recording, making it particularly valuable for post-production environments and scoring workflows where production time is constrained.
