About this plugin
Soundiron's Olympus Choir Elements distills the sampling depth of their flagship 63-voice choir into a streamlined, production-ready instrument. Built as a Powered-By-Kontakt library, it prioritizes immediate usability and sonic clarity over granular lyrical articulation, making it well-suited for composers who need dependable choral textures without navigating complex phonetic systems.
The core sound draws from a close-stage microphone position capturing eight fundamental vowels - Ah, Ee, Eh, Ei, Ih, Mm, Oh, and Oo - across sustains, staccatos, and marcatos. Dynamic layering spans from pp to ff with intelligent round-robin cycling, delivering both delicate pianissimo passages and forceful forte declarations. The newly implemented legato sustains for Ah and Oo vowels support up to six-part polyphonic harmony with fluid interval shaping, enabling smooth vocal transitions within a single voice.

Independent male and female divisi control allows granular section balancing, while the interface provides real-time automation over swell, attack, release time, release volume, sample start offset, and panning. The 50 convolution reverbs and atmospheric pads expand creative possibilities beyond traditional choral writing.
Among contemporary ensemble libraries, Elements occupies practical middle ground - more sonically refined and feature-rich than basic sample packs, yet less complex than systems demanding extensive programming. It performs well in orchestral contexts, hybrid scoring, and electronic music requiring organic vocal elements. The Komplete Kontrol integration streamlines workflow for producers already invested in Native Instruments ecosystems.
