About this plugin
RX Post Production Suite 9 represents iZotope's most comprehensive audio repair and mixing toolkit, purpose-built for post-production professionals handling broadcast, film, and streaming deliverables. This crossgrade edition targets existing RX 1-10 Advanced users seeking access to current generation tools without purchasing the full suite separately.
The bundle anchors around RX 12 Advanced, the industry standard for dialogue cleanup, noise reduction, and forensic audio analysis. Complementing this core are Equinox, a sophisticated reverb engine leveraging Exponential Audio algorithms with adaptive unmasking technology to maintain clarity in immersive formats including Dolby Atmos. Neutron 5 handles the mixing side, providing spectral analysis and intelligent gain staging, while Nectar 4 Advanced delivers vocal-specific processing with integrated Melodyne 5 Essential for pitch correction.

Additional utilities including Insight 2 for multichannel metering, Tonal Balance Control 3 for mix translation verification, and Relay for inter-plugin communication round out a cohesive workflow. These tools work seamlessly together rather than as disconnected utilities, addressing the reality that modern post-production demands simultaneous attention to technical compliance, aesthetic mixing, and spatial audio specifications.
This package suits dialogue editors, re-recording mixers, and sound designers working under tight deadlines where reliability matters more than experimentation. The crossgrade pricing acknowledges existing iZotope investment while providing genuine workflow acceleration compared to maintaining separate older versions. Among comparable all-in-one solutions, RX Post Production Suite 9 maintains its position as the reference standard for facilities prioritizing audio integrity and professional delivery requirements.
