About this plugin

Anukari represents a genuinely unconventional approach to sound design by anchoring synthesis and processing directly to real-time physics simulation. Rather than modulating parameters abstractly, you construct three-dimensional systems of masses, springs, and anchors, then excite them through five distinct mechanisms: mallets for transient impacts, plectrums for plucked articulation, bows for sustained harmonic generation, oscillators for traditional waveform modulation, and external audio routing. The result is an instrument that behaves like a physical object, not a synthesizer pretending to be one.

What sets Anukari apart technically is the tight integration between visual representation and acoustic output. The 3D viewport isn't decorative; it shows precisely what's generating each sound as your structures flex, vibrate, and interact. This directness makes intuitive sense for sound design while simultaneously constraining it in productive ways - you can't dial in unphysical results because the physics themselves enforce coherence between what you see and hear.
