The saturation section offers three distortion curves (soft, medium, hard) that add harmonic content while maintaining perceived loudness through automatic gain compensation. A kick-detection algorithm triggers the sub-bass generator, which synthesizes controllable low-end frequencies below the fundamental - useful for matching kick drums to session keys or reinforcing thin samples.
