About this plugin
Output's Instruments Bundle consolidates the company's modular approach to sound design into a single, comprehensively licensed package. Rather than a monolithic instrument, this collection functions as a toolkit spanning vocal synthesis, orchestral textures, bass, and percussion through five distinct products: Exhale, Substance, Analog Strings, Analog Brass & Winds, and Rev.
Exhale stands as the bundle's cornerstone - a vocal engine that departs from traditional sample-based choir libraries. Built around real vocal recordings processed through analog gear, tape machines, and vocoders, it offers three operational modes (Notes, Loops, and Slices) with extensive modulation capabilities. The 500 presets reflect deliberate sound design rather than generic variations, useful for contemporary production requiring textural sophistication rather than conventional vocal realism.

Substance and the Analog series address instrumental gaps with subtractive synthesis and sampled acoustic sources respectively. Rev functions primarily as a multi-effects processor with particular strength in spatial and temporal manipulation, complemented by Rev X-Loops for rhythmic integration.
The bundle's strength lies in workflow cohesion. Each instrument shares Output's design philosophy emphasizing macro-based accessibility alongside deep parameter control, though this also means users inherit the learning curve across multiple interfaces. The collection suits producers working in electronic, cinematic, and hybrid genres where timbral experimentation matters more than acoustic fidelity.
Compared to acquiring instruments individually, the bundled pricing presents marginal savings. The real value emerges for producers seeking a unified sound design language rather than a best-in-class solution for any single category. This package functions as a creative constraint tool as much as an expansion toolkit.
