About this plugin
Kinetic is a comprehensive modern club synthesis and effects instrument built on Muze's proprietary Evo Engine, designed specifically for producers working in techno, dark techno, tech house, and related electronic genres. The plugin combines a sample-based synthesis architecture with an extensive effects chain, making it a practical alternative to assembling multiple specialized tools.
The core sonic palette draws from 19,440 samples spanning dark, atmospheric synths, bass instruments, and pluck sounds, distributed across 648 factory presets. This sample-based approach provides immediate sonic character while maintaining flexibility through a layering engine that encourages sound design exploration. The library weighs 3.6 GB and employs lossless compression, ensuring fidelity without excessive CPU footprint.

Where Kinetic distinguishes itself is in its effects processing. The 14 built-in effects include essential club production tools like multiband EQ, multiple delay types, high-quality reverb, and frequency-shaping devices such as Cabinet and Rotator. The effects architecture allows deeper customization beyond preset selection, giving experienced producers room to sculpt their own signal chains.
The fully customizable interface caters to both workflow efficiency and sound design exploration. Rather than presenting a fixed layout, users can configure the UI to match their production habits.
Kinetic suits producers seeking an integrated synthesis and effects environment that prioritizes modern club aesthetics without requiring constant plugin switching. It's most valuable for those building complete drum or bass sounds from scratch, though the effects section holds enough substance to function as a standalone processor for external audio. The Evo Engine's reported improvements over previous Muze products suggest meaningful development investment, though results depend on individual workflow integration.
