About this plugin
The MORG-81 EQ from Evertone Project is a surgical parametric equalizer designed for precision mixing and mastering work. Built on the foundation of classic hardware topology, this plugin delivers transparent, musical equalization across a broad frequency spectrum with minimal phase distortion. The interface provides intuitive control over up to eight bands with adjustable Q factors, allowing engineers to isolate and shape problem frequencies with surgical accuracy or apply broader, more musical curves.
What distinguishes the MORG-81 is its sonic character - it sits somewhere between clinical transparency and subtle harmonic coloration, avoiding the sterility of purely digital algorithms while resisting unnecessary "warmth." The plugin excels at detailed corrective work, making it particularly valuable for vocal editing, instrument balancing, and final mix refinement. Its straightforward parameter layout and real-time visual feedback appeal to both technical engineers and those prioritizing ear-trained mixing.

The MORG-81 occupies a practical middle ground in the parametric EQ landscape, neither claiming vintage mystique nor demanding excessive CPU resources. It's best suited for engineers who value straightforward functionality and honest sound processing over feature complexity or emulation pretense.
