About this plugin
The Pro EQ delivers authentic analogue-modelled equalization with a sonic signature derived from the hallmark processors found in SSL and Neve consoles. This Windows-only plugin targets mastering engineers and mix professionals seeking transparent tonal shaping without the latency or expense of hardware chains.
The four-band parametric structure (LF, LMF, HMF, HF) covers standard mixing frequencies with surgical precision. Complementary high and low pass filters extend utility for problem-solving and genre-specific tonal refinement. The analogue modelling approach prioritizes musicality over clinical accuracy, imparting subtle harmonic coloration that sits naturally within mixes rather than calling attention to itself.

CPU efficiency remains notably low, making the Pro EQ practical for dense sessions running multiple instances across tracks without performance compromise. The professional GUI design prioritizes function over aesthetics, reflecting the straightforward operational philosophy expected in professional mixing environments.
A curated preset library of 29 configurations addresses common mixing scenarios and instrument categories, serving as both starting points for rapid workflows and educational reference for understanding the plugin's sonic character across different sources.
The Pro EQ occupies middle ground within the crowded mastering EQ landscape. It lacks the specialized metering integration of flagship tools like FabFilter Pro-Q or the extreme transparency of linear-phase algorithms, but it delivers genuine analogue character at a fraction of hardware costs. For mixing engineers valuing tonal smoothness and harmonic enhancement over surgical precision, the Pro EQ remains a reliable workstation tool that consistently produces professional results across material types.
