The plugin's primary strength lies in its restraint. Rather than announcing itself through pumping or distortion, it sits quietly across a mix bus or individual track, maintaining headroom while preserving transient character.

The technical foundation supports this philosophy. Eight times oversampling with inter-sample peak detection addresses a real problem in digital limiting: peaks that occur between sample points can still clip the output. This approach prevents the audible artifacts that emerge when catching these inter-sample transients, keeping the ceiling genuinely inviolable without resorting to aggressive lookahead or short-term gain reduction that creates audible modulation.

Attack ranges from immediate to a gentle 10 milliseconds, offering flexibility from near-transparent peak catching to smoother limiting that preserves initial transient snap. The release time stretches across two seconds, allowing either transparent operation or intentional gain reduction shaping. A dedicated stereo link control lets engineers decide whether channels reduce gain in lockstep or independently, crucial for maintaining stereo image integrity on the mix bus.
