MUnison

MUnison is MeldaProduction's take on pitch-aware voice multiplication, combining doubler and harmonizer functionality with a modulation-rich architecture. The core engine analyzes incoming audio, detects pitch when necessary, and generates up to 50 virtual voices that can reinforce the original signal with subtle pitch fluctuation, track harmonic intervals based on selected scales, or diverge entirely for orchestral density effects.

The plugin's real strength lies in its modulation capabilities. Four versatile modulators - LFO, envelope, audio follower, and pitch detector - can modulate any parameter, addressing a fundamental problem with static vocal processing. This makes MUnison practical for both studio refinement and live contexts where evolving character matters more than pristine uniformity.

Technically, the implementation shows MeldaProduction's usual rigor: 64-bit processing at unlimited sample rates, GPU acceleration, M/S and surround routing flexibility, and optimization for AVX instruction sets. The visual feedback system displays both classic metering and time-domain information, useful for dialing in unison spread and harmonizer tracking accuracy.

MUnison occupies a middle ground between simpler doublers like Waves Doubler and comprehensive harmonizers like iZotope's VocalSynth.
