About this plugin
Synthetic Strings: NOVO Pack 03 represents Heavyocity's systematic expansion of their string synthesizer collection, delivering over 13.6 GB of meticulously sampled material from ten classic and contemporary instruments including the Juno, Solina, Crumar, and Streichfett. The package comprises 4,513 samples organized across 227 snapshot presets, alongside 120 rhythmic loops and tempo-synced ambience beds, all processed through Heavyocity's award-winning NOVO engine.
What distinguishes this collection from straightforward sample libraries is the depth of sound-shaping capability built into the NOVO engine itself. Rather than serving solely as a playback system, the plugin functions as a hybrid instrument, allowing detailed manipulation of tone, dynamics, and rhythmic character. The included rhythmic performance and loop formats facilitate integration into contemporary production workflows, particularly valuable for cinematic composers seeking organic string textures with modern flexibility.

The sonic palette gravitates toward the lush, analog warmth characteristic of vintage string machines - the kind that defined scores for Dunkirk and The Social Network. This particular strength makes Synthetic Strings: NOVO Pack 03 most compelling for composers working in film, television, and high-end game audio where authentic analog character carries measurable production value. Electronic producers and ambient music creators will find utility in the rhythmic loop library and the engine's capacity for timbral evolution.
Relative to competing products, the combination of instrument diversity and engine sophistication positions this tool as a serious alternative to both vintage hardware emulation and conventional string libraries. It's a functional choice for professionals prioritizing sonic authenticity alongside modern creative control.
