About this plugin
Sonara: Voices in Motion represents a thoughtfully engineered vocal sample library built on Heavyocity's Gravity 2 engine, offering producers a comprehensive collection of 2,060+ sources organized into functional categories designed for professional composition. The library's architecture distinguishes itself through deliberate segmentation: 576 multisampled rhythmic pedals provide foundational layering material across 48 phrases and multiple vocal timbres, while 1,152 melodic motifs deliver six interpretations of each phrase across eight keys. This structural approach allows for genuine harmonic flexibility without the brittleness often associated with pitch-shifted vocal libraries.
The sonic character emphasizes intimacy and presence. Recordings capture vocal nuance at close range, prioritizing clarity over ambient wash. Dynamic textures round out the toolkit with evolving performances suitable for atmospheric underlay or foreground interest. The total package spans 8GB with over 1,060 presets, providing both raw material and production-ready starting points.

Sonara suits composers seeking vocal elements that integrate seamlessly into orchestral or hybrid scoring contexts, as well as electronic and pop producers who value flexible, tuneable vocal components rather than complete, monolithic vocal performances. The rhythmic pedal emphasis makes it particularly valuable for projects requiring vocal percussion or rhythmic foundation layers without committing to specific melodic content.
Among contemporary vocal libraries, Sonara's strength lies in modular versatility and the quality of its source recordings rather than cutting-edge processing or novel sonic manipulation. It functions as a professional-grade tool for producers who understand how to integrate vocal elements into larger productions, prioritizing utility and blend-ability over distinctive character.
