About this plugin
ReValver Suite represents a comprehensive amp modeling and capture ecosystem that bridges the gap between software and hardware platforms. The software combines ReValver 5.1's established amp, cabinet, and effects modeling engine with ReValver Amp Cloner's capture capabilities, enabling users to digitize their own amplifiers or work with existing clones and SuperClones that morph between multiple captured tones via a single control.
The technical foundation relies on convolution-based cabinet modeling and DSP-driven amplifier emulation, delivering results that compete with established competitors in clarity and harmonic authenticity. The inclusion of officially licensed Peavey and Budda models sets ReValver apart, as these were developed with original equipment manufacturer input and represent particularly faithful reproductions of classic high-gain amplifiers like the 6505 series.

ReValver Suite's most compelling feature is its bidirectional integration with HeadRush hardware, allowing users to port tones between DAW-based production and stage-ready pedalboards without recreating patches. This ecosystem approach appeals to musicians who demand consistency across recording and live contexts. The Amp Cloner Player provides free access to captured models within ReValver 5.1, lowering the barrier to entry for users primarily interested in playback functionality.
Best suited for recording engineers, producers, and touring musicians seeking professional-grade amp emulation with genuine hardware counterparts, ReValver Suite offers genuine utility beyond novelty. While not the most intuitive interface in the category, its capture technology and official amp licensing justify consideration for serious practitioners requiring both creative flexibility and sonic authenticity grounded in actual equipment.
