About this plugin
The H3000 Band Delays Mk II represents a faithful digital translation of one of studio processing's most influential algorithms. Rather than a simple delay plugin, this tool splits incoming audio across eight independent frequency bands, each with its own delay time, level, panning, and filtering characteristics. This approach yields effects ranging from subtle stereo enhancement to complex, rhythmically fragmented textures that would be difficult to achieve with conventional delay chains.
The plugin's sonic foundation rests on newly modeled analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converter sections that capture the subtle harmonic coloration of the original H3000 hardware. Updated filter recreations now accurately reproduce the resonance and self-oscillation behavior of the vintage units, a critical detail for those seeking authentic harmonic character rather than clinical precision.

Sonically, the H3000 Band Delays excels at creating dimensional, almost orchestral delay effects. Swept comb filtering, auto-panning delays, and complex soundscapes emerge naturally from thoughtful band configuration. The visual feedback clearly displays all active delay lines and their frequency distribution, essential for understanding what's happening in real time.
This plugin suits producers and mix engineers working across electronic music, alternative rock, and experimental audio design. While powerful enough for professional mastering and mixing contexts, its real strength lies in creative sound design and detail enhancement. The 100+ presets provide immediate entry points, but the eight independent processing chains reward deep exploration.
Among multiband delay tools, the H3000 Band Delays Mk II remains the definitive option for those valuing authentic analog character combined with modern workflow efficiency.
