GrainSpace

GrainSpace is a granular processor that approaches real-time granulation with a feature set dense enough to justify serious studio consideration. The plugin excels at both subtle textural enhancement and aggressive sound design, operating on a 10-second recording buffer that allows for either live input processing or captured audio manipulation across stereo, mono, or side-channel configurations.

The core engine generates up to 32 grains per channel with independent control over seven parameters: size, distance, pitch, feedback, freeze, position, and stretch. This granular architecture is where GrainSpace distinguishes itself - rather than offering token grain controls, Audiority has provided four dedicated modulators, including two tempo-synced LFOs with 11 waveform options each, enabling complex evolving textures within a single preset. The dual stretch modes and grain pitch quantizer add practical versatility for both pitched material and abstract soundscaping.

Beyond granulation, the integrated chord resonator and reverb section function as genuine processors rather than afterthoughts, both accepting modulation assignments. The multi-mode filter and smearing algorithm further shape the grain cloud's character, allowing for coherent transformations of source material or creation of entirely synthetic textures.

GrainSpace suits producers and sound designers comfortable with parameter depth who need granular processing alongside spatial processing in a single plugin.
