About this plugin
Oscillate! Continua is a morphing virtual analogue synthesizer that prioritizes sonic flexibility through three interconnected oscillator controls generating an expansive palette of waveforms. The core architecture centers on continuously variable wave shaping rather than discrete waveform selection, a design choice that yields organic transitions between timbral territories. The addition of cross-modulation and integrated noise sources extends the harmonic complexity available, particularly useful for textural synthesis work.
The dual morphing state-variable filters operate in 2-pole and 4-pole configurations across lowpass, highpass, bandpass, and notch topologies. This implementation provides the broad tonal range necessary for detailed sound design, from surgical frequency sculpting to sweeping resonant sweeps. The filter morphing capability allows real-time transitions between filter types without audible discontinuities.

Modulation architecture is comprehensive: two standard ADSR envelopes, two flexible envelope generators functioning as envelope sequencers, and four continually-morphing LFOs provide multiple simultaneous modulation sources. The sample and hold function adds stochastic character. All parameters accept modulation assignments via simple right-click control assignment.
Version 1.2 introduced four oscillator modes - Additive with 64-harmonic control, Supersaw, Supersquare, and IXA (a hybrid phase modulation/waveshaping approach) - substantially expanding sonic territory.
Full MPE support integrates seamlessly with Linnstrument, Seaboard, Soundplane, and similar controllers. TUN file support enables alternate tuning systems. The resizable Hi-DPI interface and cross-platform preset compatibility enhance workflow efficiency.
Continua excels for sound designers requiring deep harmonic exploration and evolving soundscape creation. Its strength lies in generating complex, morphing timbres rather than classic subtractive
