About this plugin
Audified's TinyAmp condenses four distinct amplifier models into a single-knob interface, delivering a genuinely useful tool for guitarists and producers seeking quick tonal navigation without menu diving. The plugin's architecture divides its sweep into four equal zones, each representing a distinct channel accessible via continuous rotation. A colored ring indicator ( white, blue, yellow, and red ) provides immediate visual feedback about the active amp character.
The white channel presents a transparent clean amp with adaptive EQ that transitions from thick, humbucker-friendly lows to articulate single-coil brightness. The blue channel introduces overdrive characteristics, balancing saturation with dynamic responsiveness across the blues and classic rock spectrum. Yellow territory shifts into crunch and heavier rock tones, while the red channel extends into serious distortion suitable for metal applications, though the plugin's core strength lies elsewhere.

What distinguishes TinyAmp from competitors is its philosophy: it prioritizes tonal coherence over exhaustive control. Rather than offering parametric EQ or separate gain staging, Audified optimized each channel's response curve for musical results across typical pickup configurations. This approach suits busy mixing sessions where rapid A/B tonal comparison matters more than deep parameter exploration.
The plugin functions as both a standalone amp simulator and a complementary tool alongside existing amp modeling. Its compact interface makes it ideal for auxiliary tracks, parallel processing chains, or as a quick reference tone generator. For engineers accustomed to traditional hardware amp selection, TinyAmp offers immediate accessibility without sacrificing tonal depth.
