About this plugin
Hybrid 3.0 stands as AIR Music Technology's most comprehensive virtual synthesizer to date, targeting producers and sound designers who require both immediate creative satisfaction and deep sonic exploration. The instrument combines subtractive synthesis fundamentals with modern wavetable capabilities across dual three-oscillator parts, enabling complex layering and split configurations that distinguish it from single-oscillator competitors.
The core architecture prioritizes flexibility through its high-definition oscillators, which offer nine synthesis modes including traditional waveforms and advanced wavetable algorithms. A dedicated sub oscillator per part extends low-frequency options without consuming primary oscillator resources. This design philosophy allows users to construct everything from warm, analog-emulated bass and pad textures to crystalline digital leads with minimal compromise between character and control.

The preset library of over 1,200 sounds, including 200+ newly designed patches from AIR's sound design team, provides practical starting points rather than mere marketing bulk. Critically, Hybrid 2.0 presets have been retooled for 3.0's improved sonic architecture, making this a worthwhile upgrade for existing users.
Hybrid 3.0 occupies a middle ground between streamlined synthesizers and modular complexity. Its straightforward patch browser and dual-part architecture make it more accessible than deep parameter-heavy competitors, while the comprehensive adjustable controls satisfy users who demand precise sonic customization. The plugin excels for film composers requiring textural variety, electronic producers building signature sounds, and sound designers prototyping custom timbres without excessive menu diving. In an increasingly crowded virtual synthesizer landscape, Hybrid 3.0 delivers professional-grade synthesis with genuine sonic depth.
