About this plugin
Delay Pro from AIR Music Technology is a comprehensive delay plugin that moves beyond conventional echo tools by integrating modulation, filtering, and spatial processing into a single environment. The dual engine architecture allows users to select between digital and analog delay characteristics, each offering distinct tonal coloration appropriate to different mixing scenarios.
The plugin's technical foundation rests on several key features that distinguish it from standard delay processors. The Auto Clear function automatically terminates delay tails when new notes arrive, eliminating the buildup that typically plagues delay-heavy arrangements. This proves particularly valuable in dense mixes where conventional delays create unwanted sustain. The Envelope Follow section shapes delay parameters dynamically, allowing delay time, feedback, and mix to evolve based on input dynamics. Combined with adjustable ceiling and release times, this creates natural, musicality-preserving modulation without requiring manual automation.

Diffusion processing blurs delay repeats into a reverb-like texture, softening the discrete character of traditional echoes. The comprehensive feedback section includes high and low pass filters, resonant filtering with LFO modulation, distortion, and limiting, providing surgical control over delay decay and character. Stereo modes enable complex offset patterns and width manipulation suitable for creating dimensional, bouncing effects.
With up to four seconds of delay time, full BPM sync, and three stereo modes, Delay Pro suits producers working across electronic music, alternative rock, and experimental genres where delays function as primary creative tools rather than supplementary effects. The combination of spatial processing and dynamic shaping makes it equally valuable for engineers seeking sophisticated delay integration within traditional mixing workflows.
