About this plugin
The AIR Power Pack bundles three essential virtual instruments into a single collection designed to cover substantial ground across modern music production. The centerpiece is Hybrid 3, a dual-engine synthesizer that pairs analog modeling with advanced digital processing. Each of its two simultaneous synth engines features three oscillators, comprehensive modulation routing, and a deep effects section. The architecture supports layering, splitting, and spread techniques, making it suitable for everything from warm bass tones to complex evolving pads. The 1,200+ preset library, heavily revised from the previous generation, provides immediate starting points while the underlying parameter set rewards deeper exploration.
Velvet 2 addresses electric piano territory by consolidating five classic instruments from the 1960s and 70s into a single interface. Rather than modeling individual pianos exhaustively, Velvet 2 focuses on capturing the essential character of vintage electromechanical and solid-state instruments. This approach makes it particularly useful for players seeking period-appropriate tones without deep customization demands.

Mini Grand fills the acoustic piano role with a straightforward implementation emphasizing playability and sound quality over extensive editing. Its simple interface makes it accessible while maintaining professional audio standards.
The collection targets producers and composers who require reliable, high-quality instruments across multiple categories without investing in separate purchases. While Hybrid 3 competes in a crowded synthesizer market, the bundle's value proposition lies in providing complementary tools rather than offering cutting-edge innovation in any single domain. The limited-time availability positioning suggests this represents AIR's current instrument strategy.
