About this plugin
The AIR Creative Collection bundles three essential virtual instruments designed to handle primary melodic and harmonic duties across production genres. This collection centers on Xpand!2, a four-part multitimbral workstation that functions as a capable all-in-one synth platform. Each part operates independently with dedicated MIDI channels, note ranges, and effect chains, allowing producers to layer complementary textures within a single patch. The architecture supports both subtractive and FM synthesis engines alongside sample playback, with polyphonic parts offering up to 64 voices and monophonic modes providing sensible priority schemes for bass and lead articulation. Smart Knobs facilitate real-time sound design without deep menu diving, though the dual effects processors with 50 editable types prove flexible enough for serious sound shaping.
DB-33 provides convincing tonewheel organ emulation modeled on classic B3-style instruments. The inclusion of convolution-based rotary cabinet modeling and tube saturation adds genuine harmonic color rather than superficial character. The rotary effect can be deployed independently on audio tracks, extending its utility beyond organ patches.

Mini Grand rounds out the collection with a sampled piano workstation suitable for ballad arrangements and contemporary production contexts.
Together, these three instruments address the fundamental melodic toolkit most producers need. Xpand!2 particularly distinguishes itself through its multitimbral architecture and sound design depth, making this collection viable for electronic, hip-hop, and pop producers who value workflow efficiency. While individual instruments exist as standalone purchases, the bundled pricing provides reasonable value for producers building core virtual instrument libraries.
