About this plugin
The ABX3 Bundle delivers a comprehensive acid synthesizer solution grounded in the classic Roland TR-303 architecture but substantially expanded for contemporary production demands. At its core sits the ABX3 synthesizer, a 303-inspired instrument that moves beyond nostalgic emulation through advanced sound design parameters. The synth excels at generating the aggressive, resonant basslines that define acid house and techno, while its expanded modulation capabilities enable complex lead textures and evolving atmospheric effects that transcend the original hardware's limitations.
What distinguishes this bundle is its preset library depth. The included 1000+ presets span six focused banks - 256 100% acid presets, 345 trance-specific patches, plus additional bass, lead, arpeggio, and effects sounds. This breadth allows producers working in house, techno, acid trance, and progressive styles to dial in professional starting points rather than building from scratch, significantly accelerating workflow without sacrificing sonic character.

The ABX3's filtering engine demonstrates particular refinement, offering the squelchy resonance trance and techno producers demand while maintaining articulation across frequency ranges. Arpeggio capabilities lean toward hypnotic, repetitive sequences central to acid grooves, while the FX presets provide usable textures beyond bass duties.
Best suited for electronic music producers working in acid-derived genres, the ABX3 Bundle occupies practical middle ground - more powerful and flexible than lightweight 303 recreations, yet less demanding than deep-diving modular approaches. It functions effectively as both primary bass sound source and creative exploration tool for mid to professional-level producers seeking established sonic character paired with genuine design freedom.
