Rather than traditional peak detection, it analyzes signal statistics across 10 to 100+ minimum-phase frequency bands depending on the algorithm chosen, then applies independent dynamics shaping to each band. This architecture allows it to add impact to material where conventional transient shapers falter - particularly over-compressed sources where dynamic information is already compromised.

The plugin excels at adding perceived punch and presence without aggressive peak limiting. Its strength lies in the range of possible effects: snap and air in the highs, mid-range definition, bass weight, or smooth expansion across the spectrum.
