Immersive Wrapper

Immersive Wrapper addresses a genuine technical gap in surround and object-based mixing by enabling bus processing across multichannel tracks. The plugin hosts any Waves mono processor and instantiates it across all channels in a track, from mono through 9.1.6 configurations. This multi-mono approach allows engineers to apply cohesive processing to immersive beds and objects without resorting to stem mixing or external workarounds.

The core utility lies in two linked features. Control-linking synchronizes parameters across instances with flexible grouping options, letting you adjust surrounds or height channels independently while maintaining relative gain structures. For dynamics processors with sidechain inputs, Immersive Wrapper shares the internal sidechain signal across all channels, enabling the kind of transparent glue that stereo bus compression provides in traditional mixing. You can compress a 7.1.4 mix with a single dynamics curve, a capability that was previously unavailable in immersive-native workflows.

Developed with Hans-Martin Buff and Yaron Fuchs, both experienced in mixing for ATMOS, the plugin reflects real-world mixing priorities. It doesn't add coloration or character; instead, it removes barriers between your existing plugin collection and immersive mixing requirements.
