About this plugin
Wavea's Flite Create represents a comprehensive approach to sampling and synthesis that consolidates four distinct sound design workflows into a single interface. The plugin combines quadruple multi-samplers with a three-oscillator synth engine spanning FM, granular, wavetable, and virtual analog synthesis modes. This architecture allows producers to layer sampled material with generative synthesis, a practical combination for creating complex hybrid textures.
The sampler architecture deserves particular attention. Unlike many plugins that treat sampling as ancillary, Flite positions importable audio files at the core of sound design. Users can feed recordings directly into granular oscillators, enabling spectral manipulation of custom material alongside the bundled 2.5GB library sourced from classic instruments - CS-80, Jupiter-8, TR-808, and others. The ability to import Decent Sampler files broadens compatibility with existing patch ecosystems.

Modulation infrastructure is extensive: dual 32-step sequencers handle both note and parameter data independently, while three LFOs with key triggering and delay provide further real-time movement. Eight custom macros allow rapid prototyping of novel instruments without navigating deep menus. The dual filter section ( 12/24dB multimode ) and five 3-band EQs per voice offer surgical frequency control.
Flite Create suits sound designers seeking granular control over complex patches, sample-based producers who want synthesis depth, and anyone uncomfortable with software limitations. It occupies middle ground between simplified preset players and full modular environments - substantial enough for professional work without overwhelming complexity. The free Play mode provides legitimate evaluation before committing to the paid tier.
