About this plugin
Billboard Beats is a Triaz expansion pack that delivers 312 drum samples and 89 production presets calibrated to contemporary rap and hip-hop production standards. Sourced from the sonic signatures of Drake, Travis Scott, Future, and Kendrick Lamar, the collection emphasizes the technical requirements of modern trap and cloud rap: punchy, wide-stereo hi-hats with pronounced transient detail; kicks engineered for both sub-frequency impact and mid-range punch; snares with sufficient body to cut through dense arrangements; and 808s voiced for both musical definition and low-end extension.
The expansion's primary strength lies in its integration with Triaz Player, which allows granular control over drum processing rather than static sample playback. Users can layer, EQ, compress, and modulate individual drum elements within the host environment, enabling customization that moves beyond simple sample selection. This approach suits producers who need framework rather than prescription - the presets establish sonic direction while remaining fundamentally flexible.

The collection will appeal most to beatmakers developing trap-adjacent material and producers seeking reference-quality drum sounds without extensive sample library management. Experienced engineers should note that Billboard Beats functions as a specialized subset rather than a comprehensive drum toolkit. Its editorial focus means it prioritizes contemporary rap aesthetics over broader genre application.
At its core, Billboard Beats packages current professional drum production practices into accessible presets. The 89 configurations provide sufficient variation to support full project development, though users comfortable with sample manipulation will extract maximum value from Triaz's customization capabilities rather than relying on presets alone.
