About this plugin
UJAM's WEBCORE is a synthesis plugin designed specifically for contemporary digital music production, particularly hyperpop, digicore, and glitch-influenced genres. Rather than emulating vintage or acoustic sonic characteristics, WEBCORE commits fully to clean, metallic, and deliberately synthetic aesthetics that define modern internet-native music.
The plugin operates on a multi-synthesis engine with integrated sequencing and arpeggiator functionality, providing both sound design flexibility and real-time compositional tools. Its library comprises 100 synth patches and 100 global presets covering essential sonic categories: bells and plucks for percussive elements, arpeggiated leads and pads for harmonic textures, and basses for low-end definition. The metallic quality across the palette reflects the plugin's design philosophy - sounds prioritize cleanliness and definition over warmth or analog emulation.

WEBCORE functions as an effective companion to UJAM's CHROMED beatmaker, though it operates independently as a general-purpose synthesizer. The inclusion of multi-effects processing expands sonic possibilities beyond the core synthesis engine, enabling further modulation and texture manipulation.
The plugin targets producers working within contemporary digital genres where synthetic, processed tones are foundational rather than incidental. Those seeking traditional subtractive synthesis or vintage-leaning instruments will find this misaligned with their workflow. For producers committed to hyperpop's aesthetic trajectory or digicore's deliberately artificial sonic character, WEBCORE provides purpose-built tools rather than requiring workarounds on general synthesizers. Its integration of sequencing capabilities also appeals to producers prioritizing rapid ideation over extensive parameter exploration.
