About this plugin
Soul Club Vol. 4 stands as a methodical addition to Ueberschall's soul music toolkit, offering producers and composers a curated palette of retro-influenced material within the 60 to 90 BPM range. The collection comprises five construction kits drawn from nearly 3 GB of source recordings, yielding over 600 individual loops that prioritize authenticity without sacrificing modern production fidelity.
Each kit provides multiple musical elements with flexible layering options. The guitar work, available in both amplified and direct injection versions, includes period - appropriate effects such as tremolo and wah treatments. Electric bass similarly offers dual versions, while Hammond organ and Fender Rhodes textures contribute harmonic warmth typical of the era. This instrumental framework is deliberately sparse, accommodating additional elements without overcrowding the frequency spectrum.

The drum component delivers both convenience and granular control. Users can deploy premixed stereo loops in dry or effects - processed variants, or drill down into discrete tracks for kick, snare, high - hat, ride, toms, overheads, and room microphones. This multitrack architecture permits detailed mixing decisions and individual processing. Auxiliary percussion elements including congas, bongos, and shakers expand rhythmic possibilities beyond standard kit sounds.
Elastik's tempo and pitch manipulation capabilities provide essential flexibility for adaptation across projects. With loops extending to 40 seconds, the material supports longer compositional passages rather than fragmented snippets. Soul Club Vol. 4 functions most effectively as an instrumental bed source for composers working in television, film, advertising, or producer - musicians seeking authentic soul grooves with production - ready quality and full customization potential.
