About this plugin
The Soul Club Bundle represents a comprehensive collection of 70s soul production material built around Ueberschall's Elastik engine. Rather than a traditional effects plugin, this is a construction kit library containing 20 extensively sampled sessions that span the foundational elements of classic soul production: drums, bass lines, keyboards, guitars, strings, and brass arrangements. The 9.6 GB library totals 2,384 individual loops and phrases extracted from authentic period recordings and performances.
The sonic approach emphasizes instrumental authenticity. Unlike synthesized or modernized interpretations, these kits preserve the harmonic warmth, transient characteristics, and tonal coloration of genuine analog recording chains. The drum and bass grooves demonstrate the pocket and swing of session musicians accustomed to live ensemble playing, while the keys carry the characteristic impedance and slight saturation of vintage electric pianos. Strings and brass retain the organic layering and natural sustain decay typical of overdubbed horn sections.

Elastik's architecture enables substantial customization beyond basic loop playback. The Loopeye editing environment, polyphonic scale syncing, and time-stretching capabilities allow producers to adapt these materials to specific harmonic and rhythmic contexts without sacrificing their tonal identity. The ability to export loops as WAV files facilitates integration into any DAW workflow.
This collection serves producers seeking authentic soul instrumentation without the friction of sourcing and processing original recordings. It's particularly valuable for those working in neo-soul, funk, or sample-based hip-hop production where period-accurate tonal character influences the final aesthetic. Among similar soul libraries, the Soul Club Bundle distinguishes itself through production quality and the Elastik platform's editing depth.
