About this plugin
Jazz Trip is a comprehensive sample library and construction kit collection designed for producers working in downtempo, hip-hop, and urban genres. The plugin ships with 10 fully developed construction kits spanning roughly 900 loops and samples across 3GB of material, organized into three distinct musical sections plus intro and outro variations per kit. This architecture facilitates straightforward song composition while maintaining creative flexibility during arrangement.
The sonic palette combines acoustic and electronic instrumentation - including piano, guitar, organ, saxophone, trumpet, and flugelhorn alongside synthesized elements - recorded at professional quality then deliberately processed with analog coloration to achieve an intentional lo-fi aesthetic. The library's tempo range spans 70 to 130 BPM, weighted toward laid-back tempos typical of late-night listening. Drum components are particularly granular, offering both pre-mixed loop variations and isolated tracks for kick, snare, hi-hat, and percussion layers, allowing precise control over drum balance without sacrificing cohesion.

Jazz Trip excels for producers seeking sophisticated urban atmospherics with grit and character. While the jazz foundation is evident throughout, the versatile construction kit approach accommodates crossover applications in RnB, trip-hop, and chillout contexts. The included Elastik engine provides essential tools like tempo manipulation and pitch correction, enabling seamless integration of loops across different projects.
For professionals requiring authentic jazz-inflected grooves with contemporary production depth, Jazz Trip occupies established territory among construction kit libraries but distinguishes itself through its commitment to balanced analog warmth and comprehensive individual drum stems.
