UAP (Unique Audio Plugin) is a sample-based synthesis and effects environment built for Kontakt 6 that specializes in textural, sci-fi oriented sound design. The engine centers on time-stretching and granular processing, allowing users to map single samples across the keyboard via the DILATION function, which generates playable instruments from arbitrary source material in real time. This approach proves particularly effective for creating evolving pads, pitched percussion, and abstract melodic elements from drums, vocals, or field recordings.

The plugin's character derives from its effects architecture rather than synthesis modeling. The ANTI-GRAVITY module provides 35 effects selections including standard processors alongside more experimental algorithms, while LIFT offers 41 time-dilation effects for temporal manipulation.
