About this plugin
Universal Audio's Select 3 Plus Bundle represents a pragmatic entry point into the UAD ecosystem, offering essential mixing and mastering tools without the full financial commitment of premium packages. The bundle prioritizes core functionality across dynamics, EQ, and compression, with particular strength in its emulations of classic hardware processing chains.
The sonic character leans toward transparent, predictable control rather than aggressive coloration. The included compressors and limiters respond naturally across dynamic content, making them reliable workhorses for everyday tracking and mixing tasks. EQ tools provide surgical precision without the character-driven colorations found in UAD's higher-tier offerings.

This bundle suits engineers working in smaller studios or on tighter budgets who need dependable, sonically neutral processing. It's particularly valuable for those still developing their mixing aesthetic, as the plugins prioritize clarity and accuracy over distinctive character. While lacking the boutique emulations and experimental processors found in larger bundles, Select 3 Plus delivers mainstream professional results at a fraction of the cost.
The real-time processing through UAD's Apollo interface provides low-latency tracking advantages that justify the platform investment for serious home and project studios alike.
