About this plugin
Tuned Reverb is a purposefully designed convolution-based reverb plugin engineered specifically for vocal processing. Rather than attempting to be a universal reverb solution, it focuses on the particular demands of modern vocal production, where clarity and intelligibility must coexist with spatial depth.
The plugin's strength lies in its straightforward control architecture. The pre-delay parameter allows precise separation between the direct signal and early reflections, critical for maintaining vocal definition in dense mixes. The time control spans 150ms to 6 seconds, covering everything from tight, slap-back style reflections to atmospheric washes without requiring extreme parameter values that compromise usability.

The Body and Air controls represent the most musically intuitive aspect of the design. Rather than EQ'ing the reverb tail after the fact, these parameters shape the reverb character at the source - Body adds harmonic weight to lower frequencies while Air brightens the high-frequency content, allowing engineers to dial in reverb that complements a vocal's natural tone rather than obscuring it. The Width control extends stereo imaging without creating phase coherency issues that plague less thoughtful implementations.
Tuned Reverb suits vocal-centric producers, mixing engineers working across genres, and those who prefer focused tools over bloated multi-algorithm units. Its blend control ensures the wet signal doesn't overshadow the vocal, a common mixing pitfall with reverb plugins.
Among specialized vocal reverbs, Tuned Reverb occupies practical middle ground - more feature-rich than minimalist alternatives while maintaining the simplicity required during active mixing sessions.
