About this plugin
Tracktion's Poly-One Expansion Pack extends the Attracktive plugin ecosystem with a meticulously modeled interpretation of the Sequential Pro-One, the legendary single-voice analog monosynth that defined a generation of bass and lead synthesis. Rather than simply digitizing the original circuit topology, this expansion samples the Pro-One's actual voice and reconstructs it across 40 polyphonic voices, preserving the harmonic density and tonal character of the hardware while enabling the textural possibilities that only polyphony allows.
The plugin's strength lies in its faithful reproduction of the Pro-One's core sonic signature: thick, saturated oscillators with genuine warmth from analog circuitry modeling, a resonant filter that tracks the instrument's famously musical response curve, and envelope behavior that captures the subtle asymmetries of the original's AD and ADSR stages. This isn't clinical emulation but rather a working instrument that interprets the Pro-One's character for contemporary production contexts.

For producers and engineers seeking vintage-authentic bass tones without the hardware investment and maintenance burdens, the Poly-One delivers immediately usable results. Session musicians will appreciate its polyphonic capability for strings and pad textures that retain the Pro-One's inherent musicality. It occupies solid middle ground - less immediately characterful than some boutique synth emulations, but more sonically cohesive and intuitive than purely algorithmic alternatives.
Attracktive's plugin architecture ensures efficient CPU usage and deep integration within modern DAWs, making the Poly-One expansion a practical addition to any production toolkit where authentic analog character matters more than novelty.
