About this plugin
Hyperion Brass Elements is a Kontakt-based orchestral brass library that prioritizes immediate usability without sacrificing sonic depth. Recorded at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley with close-miked precision, the ensemble captures a forward, robust tonal character defined by strong projection and extended dynamic range. The library encompasses six trumpets, four tenor trombones, four French horns, three euphoniums, three bass trombones, and three tubas, with ten pre-mixed ensemble combinations and six master section presets that provide both foundational articulations and advanced true-legato capabilities.
The interface balances accessibility with professional control. New users benefit from intuitive preset architecture and instant playability, while experienced composers gain access to comprehensive articulation management, extensive real-time performance parameters, and flexible keyswitch mapping. Spatialization controls, environment simulation, and positioning tools allow significant tonal shaping across genres and production contexts. The library's hand-edited samples and careful dynamic balancing distinguish it from less refined competitors, delivering genuine acoustic character rather than purely processed sound.

Hyperion Brass Elements serves working composers, arrangers, and producers seeking dependable section writing tools without the learning curve of larger, more complex libraries. The close-miked recording approach suits modern production aesthetics and digital mixing environments better than distant-perspective competitors. Its sound design flexibility and articulation depth position it as a capable alternative to studio-standard libraries, particularly for those valuing sonic directness and immediate ergonomics. The true-legato implementation and dynamic capabilities make it suitable for both orchestral composition and contemporary music applications demanding authentic brass textures.
