About this plugin
The Sonnox Post bundle consolidates essential post-production processing into a cohesive plugin ecosystem rooted in decades of analog console design. At its core sits the Oxford EQ, a four-mode parametric that translates the sonic signatures of industry-standard consoles into plugin form. The Clinical mode delivers surgical precision akin to SSL 4000E boards, while the Classic voice evokes Neve and SSL G-series characteristics with broader, more musical curves. This flexibility addresses the fundamental challenge of mixing across genres without sacrificing tonal character.
The Oxford Dynamics processor handles six independent dynamic functions - compression, gating, expansion, and limiting - with enough precision for vocal control yet capable of generating aggressive sidechain effects. The SuprEsser layers dynamic EQ functionality, useful for taming frequency-specific resonances without static filtering. Oxford Reverb provides spatial depth with character distinct from algorithmic ambience plugins, while the Limiter offers transparent peak management across individual tracks or buses.

What separates this bundle is the inclusion of Sonnox Restore, the restoration suite featuring DeClicker, DeBuzzer, and DeNoiser. These tools address real-world contamination - clicks, hum, and broadband noise - with algorithms that minimize artifacts while preserving program material.
The visual feedback across all plugins supports faster decision-making compared to parameter-only interfaces. This bundle serves post-production professionals and mixing engineers who require both restoration capability and transparent, characterful processing from a single manufacturer. Its pedigree in broadcast and film post-production makes it particularly suitable for dialogue-heavy work where clarity and artifact removal are non-negotiable.
